Old cell phones are repurchased by companies interested in reusing the parts and keeping the phones out of landfills. LNF receives an amount for each phone based on the age and model of the phone.
Here's how:
Contact phonesforluke@optonline.net to register your office as a collection site.
LNF will send you all necessary materials and arrange a pick up.
This can also be arranged for offices not on Long Island!
Individuals can donate phones at any of the drop-off locations listed below.
INKJET and LASER CARTRIDGE Information
The cartridges must include the ink head (that's the little metal strip where the ink comes out) AND do not tape over the print head (that would ruin it for recycling).
ALSO, the cartridge must be a "virgin" cartridge, which means it had not been refilled before.
LNF accepts ALL TYPES of cartridges.
Call LNF and we'll give your office a collection box and
arrange pick-up of your used cartridges.

USED GAMEBOYS AND GAMES
LNF collects Gameboys and games kids no longer want and donates them to hospitals for kids with cancer who don't have Gameboys. All must be in working order. LNF will also accept working game systems.
